Hot Mess Opening

TIME: 6 PM

Hot Mess brings together the seven women of the Backboxx Artist Society: Priscilla Ortiz, Claudia Berman, Sam Homan, Sylvana Lankshear, Adele French, Michele Allen, and Emily Tanaka.
Busy lives, competing demands, and everyday chaos come into the studio, too. This group exhibition reflects our lives right now, finding complicated beauty in the mess and celebrating the female creative community that keeps us creating.
Join us for the opening Friday, December 4, 2026, at 6 PM at Not Shockboxx in Hermosa Beach’s Cypress Arts District.
Free admission.
